Dioxin Websites Growing Monday, December 8, 2003

Information on the dioxin issue in the Tittabawassee river flood plain is growing on-line.

Three websites are providing information and are maintained by the Department of Environmental Quality, Dow Chemical and a local group called the Tittabawassee River Watch. River Watch webmaster Gary Henry says his website aims to provide all aspects of the dioxin issue. Henry says a new audio presentation on his site by EPA scientist Doctor Linda Birnbaum gives an idea of possible health risks associated with dioxin exposure.

Henry, who is a plaintiff in the pending class action lawsuit case against Dow, says the website also features updates about the
litigation.
