Public Participation
Our objectives for the August 20 meeting are:
We want to hear from you in whatever manner you wish to communicate so we are offering these options:
Comment Card: If you wish to make a statement or ask a question during the Public Comment & Question period tonight, print only your name on the Comment or Questions card and give it to the sign-in table attendant. You do not have to write your question on the card. We will call on people to speak (from the podium or their seat) in the order the cards were received. If you decide later that you do not want to make a comment, just decline when your name is called. OR
Anonymous: Simply write your question on the Comment or Questions card and give it to the sign-in table attendant. There is no need to fill out any other part of the card. Your question will be read aloud and responded to during the public comment portion of tonight’s meeting. You do not have to speak. OR
IMPROMPTU: Once all of the submitted cards have been addressed during the public comment portion of the meeting, MDCH staff will address the audience for other questions. Raise your hand to indicate that you would like to speak. You can speak from your seat or the podium.
So we may hear from as many people as possible this evening, please hold your comments or questions until your name is called. We would appreciate your cooperation in keeping your questions and comments brief out of consideration for those waiting to be heard. Thank you!
